2025 IISA Election Announcement

IISA elections for the IISA 2026 President (one position) and IISA Board of Trustees member (2025-2027; one position) will be held in November. The IISA 2026 President will also serve as President-Elect for 2025 and Past-President for 2027.

IISA Bylaws, section 3.10 states the following “A Nominating Committee, appointed by the President in consultation with the Past President, shall submit to the Executive Board two nominations for President-Elect and two nominations for a Trustee position. Upon receiving the nominations from the Nominating Committee, the Secretary, on behalf of the President, shall call for additional nominations to be submitted by the membership within a specified date and supported by at least 10 members. The names received shall be added to the Nominating Committee list to make up the final list for election. The Secretary shall conduct the elections by a secured mechanism using this final list. The candidate for a position receiving the majority votes will be the winner for that position. A coin toss shall be used to break the ties.”

Following the Bylaws, the IISA Executive Committee appointed a nomination committee consisting of Drs. Arusharka Sen, Suhasini Subba Rao and Shubhashis Ghosal. The nomination committee submitted the following nominations.

Following the IISA bylaws, additional nominations are being sought. Members can submit additional nominations for either position by October 15, 11:59 PM United States Pacific Time.

Nominations must include the names and brief biographies of the nominees, along with the names and email addresses of at least 10 supporting members. The nominee must be an active member of the association. The nomination packages should be sent to the Secretary at IntIndStatAssoc.COO@gmail.com by the above deadline. Please note that late submissions will not be accepted due to time sensitivity.

The election will be held in November following the completion of the nomination process. Only active IISA members are eligible to vote.
