A limited number of rooms may be available in the dorms of CSM. These are single occupancy rooms with two rooms sharing the bathroom and toilet facilities (see Figures below). Rooms must be booked for the entire duration of the conference (i.e., Check in on May 31, 2023, and Check out on June 4, 2023). The cost per room for 4 nights of a stay including breakfast will be less than USD 350. This does not include parking in CSM. The current check-out date is on the 4th of June, 2023. If you want to check out on the 5th at an additional cost of USD 75, please indicate that in the form. We are trying to reserve a few rooms for the 4th night as well.

The rooms will be allocated on a first-come-first-served and a need to avail basis, with participants in students’ paper and poster competitions, registered students, junior researchers, and participants from developing countries, including India being prioritized.

Upon confirmation of reservation, the payment for the rooms must be made through the IISA 2023 website. The payment portal will open soon.

The organizers will start allocating the rooms on 30th April 2023 and you will be notified soon after that.

Rental CarYou can rent a car from the airport and drive to the School of Mines, which is approximately a 40-minute drive depending on traffic. There is parking available on campus. Public Transportation

You can use public transportation from the airport or the Union train station to Golden.

If you are at the airport, please follow the signs to the Transit Center. Transit Center located at the extreme south end of the Main Terminal Building on Level 1 of the DEN airport. Proceed to the south exit on Level 5, exit the terminal through the sliding glass doors, and take the escalator located in the center of the plaza down to Level 1.

Board the A-Line train bound for Denver Union Station. Trains leave every 15 minutes during peak travel times, and every 30 minutes from 3 a.m. - 5 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Purchase your ticket at the RTD desk or from an automated kiosk.

If you are at the Union Station of Denver, look for an escalator/elevator to access the underground bus concourse. In the underground bus concourse, walk to the far end of the concourse and exit at the Chestnut Pavilion. Light rail plaza is outside the pavilion.

Board the W-Line light rail train bound for Golden Station (Jefferson County Government). Trains leave every 15 minutes from 4:45 a.m. to midnight.

When your train arrives at Golden Station, please take look the FlexRide bus boarding location next to the tracks. A bus leaves the station every 15 minutes. Travel time to downtown Golden: About 15 minutes.

Upon boarding the FlexRide bus, tell the driver your desired destination so the driver will know where to stop. Stops are made on the Colorado School of Mines campus, in downtown Golden, and at many other locations.
