The IISA 2022 India Meeting will be held in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore from 26th to 30th December, 2022. IISc is located in the northern part of the city of Bengaluru, the IT Capital of India. Bengaluru is India’s hub of high-tech companies (in aerospace, electronics, and information technology), educational and research institutions and numerous start-ups.

IISc was established in 1909 by a visionary partnership between the industrialist Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, the Mysore royal family and the Government of India. Over the last 113 years, IISc has become India’s one of the most premier institutes for advanced scientific and technological research and education. In 2018, IISc was selected as an Institution of Eminence (IoE) by the Government of India, and it consistently figures among the top Indian institutions in world university rankings. The Institute's research output is diverse, interdisciplinary and cuts across traditional boundaries. It has over 42 academic departments and centres, 500+ faculty members and 4800+ students. The Institute has a vibrant and diverse campus spread over 440 acres of greenery.

The conference will be held in the National Science Seminar Complex (NSSC), which is located in the southern end of the campus.

The NSSC comprises the main J N Tata Auditorium (JNTA), which has a capacity of 750 seats, and three additional smaller auditoria for parallel sessions of capacities 120, 90 and 60 seats each. The NSSC also has a banquet area including an outdoor backyard.
