At most one award is made in each category in a given cycle of nomination.
Please note that the selection committee may move (with the nominator’s consent) the award category of an application to a different one from the submitted, if the changed category is deemed more appropriate and increases the potential of receiving a higher ranking by the candidate. The YSSA will be presented at a ceremony during the IISA conference to be held in Mumbai during December 26-30, 2019. The recipients will receive a cash award and a plaque.
Any queries regarding this announcement should be directed to awards@intindstat.org
Note : From 2018, IISA has added the additional YSSA track in statistical practices to specifically recognize the contributions made by a junior statistician practicing in an industry or a governmental organization.
